Project: Wind Channels
SCI-arc (2007)
Advisor: Rob Ley
The Wind Channels project uses wind as the driving force in determining the form of the building. Outdoor architectural elements throughout the building either direct the wind or directed by it; creating a structurally-sound building that is in constant motion. These active outdoor spaces form a sharp contrast to the controlled interior environments of this bio-tech research laboratory.
